Football Trophies

Jack and Cooper returned from the North in time to attend the Auskick Presentation Day and pick up their trophies for the year.  Well done boys!

 While visiting Cooper took the opportunity to go through his favourite book "Dangerous Dinosaurs"

Everything Old Is New Again

Lachlan came to play with Granny today.  The 35 year old racetrack that was a favourite with his uncles many years ago is now one of his favourites.

 It is always important to keep Granny up to date on the Star Wars figures.

Nearly Spring

The days are getting warmer and the balcony is coming into it's own.  We had a barbeque outside last night and had dinner outside again this evening.  This trend is likely to continue.

Morning Visit

Lisa and Justin came by this morning.  Lachlan stayed with us while his parents attended an appointment.  When the opportunity presents, you have to take photos!

Sophie's Award

It's a good week for Awards. Sophie got the "Aussie of the Week" award at Assembly for her work as the class prepared for this year's production.  Congratulations Sophie!

James' Awards

James completed his football season with his successes being recognised with awards at the Club Presentation Day.  He came away with awards for Most Improved Player, Completion of 50 Games and Club Participation.  He also was being chased to make sure he signed with the club for next season.  Congratulations James on a great year.

Celebrations

Yesterday was a great day - we had a lot to celebrate.  Most importantly, Justin was out of hospital and in good shape, added to this it was time to celebrate Adam's birthday. What better excuse for a barbeque?  Lisa's pizzas only lasted seconds.

So it was up to the Three Amigos to sort the barbeque.

Empty plates indicate the casual dinner went down well. Then it was down to the serious discussion topics of the evening and recognising Adam's advancing years.

Visitation from Afar

It is a beautiful (almost Spring) day.  We were doing a little cleanup around the house and there was a knock at the door.  Great to see Pam and Noel down in the big smoke before they head off to see Mum K.

Back into Routine

Back from his big trip, Lachlan came over today to look after Granny and Pa.  Granny is still working on the intricacies of the iPad so Lachy spent some time showing her how it is done.

And the visit could not go by without a refresher course on the Star Wars characters.  (We keep getting their names wrong).

Confined to Quarters

Following the Prostate surgery you get all sorts of advice as to the probable recovery times.  It's a bit over five weeks since the operation and there are small improvements but I am still some way off a full recovery.  Rather than getting stuck into the garden I am watching Claire prepare for Spring.

Change Coming
