Halloween

It's that time of the year that the spooks come out to play. It has been a warm day and Melbourne has put on a show for the evening festivities.

Sophie and James are ready.

Dinner With a Celebrity!

We visited Pam and Darryl last night and when the conversation drifted into the past, Darryl mentioned that he had appeared in Womens Weekly.  Apparently in 1953 he was the Vegemite Kid.

Who Me??

Max loves to see his humans get home after school.  He has been good all day.

He refuses to accept he could have done anything wrong even when confronted by the evidence!

Lachy Meets Pirate Jack

Another month, another eye injection to address the problems of contracting shingles in the eye. It did not seem to worry Lachy too much.

Railing Complete (almost)

The balustrade and hand rail on the side of the stairs leading down from the deck is now complete. There had been a short hiatus while steam and enthusiasm were regenerated but the deed is now done.  Now all that is needed is the stain.

Dinner

Last week we had dinner with Brett and Cathy and family and forgot to use the camera (Doh!!). When Adam and Kate and family came this week, we made sure of a pic.  It was a gentle spring evening and the new barbeque proved its worth.

Spring Shearing

Rosie and Max visited today and we hardly recognised them.  They had lost their heavy winter coats and looked considerably thinner.

Musical Evening

We had dinner with Lisa and Justin last night and were entertained with a number of musical performances, Jack gave us his best "Jimmy Hendrix"

Lachy Visits

When Lachlan comes to play at Granny and Pa's, the first order of the day is to occupy his favourite space.

Developments on the Home Front

And it came to pass that the Empress decreed it was time for a vege patch.  Two problems, not much available light and not a lot of soil, otherwise - easy!  The accepted solution is to create a flat area in the only sunny patch and put two raised beds for our vege patch.
Work has begun.

Phone Camera Deliciousness

When I started taking photos on 120 Roll film and mixing chemicals to develop and print the photos, I could not have imagined the ease of photography today. In a minute or two with an iPhone you can produce a photo that professionals could only have dreamed about back then. This is yesterday's 1 minute Black and White offering.
