Ebony Moves to the Grand Final

Ebony's team finished the season second on the ladder and in this semi they played the team that finished third.  As it turned out OOPS was much stronger than Laburnum so they play out the Grand Final next week.  Ebony was on fire with her goal shooting.

Sophie Cruises Home

Sophie's match was a bit of a contrast to Patrick's with the girls being so much stronger than the opposition.  They had to work but cruised home.
Sophie is good to watch as she plays with a total focus on the ball and doesn't seem to care if the opposition is twice her size - she goes in hard!

Basketball - Patrick

With a little more freedom as the house sale progresses, we managed to see Patrick (and Sophie) play this weekend.  The match was a bit of a nail-biter with the two teams closely matched.
In the last few minutes the boys were ahead by only 2 points with the opposition on the attack so there was some tension on the bench however they held on for a win.

The Board Goes Up

The sale of Efron St is really underway now with the erection of Sale Board and people starting to troop through the place on open days.  Now all we need is an interested buyer!

The Move Progresses

The major furniture items have all been moved out of Efron St ready for the staging and sale.  The move was scheduled for a day that threatened rain but the transition occurred without a major hydrological incident.
And the fun has started cramming all our stuff into the limited available space in Unit 2

Jack Enters the Gallery

With all the house shifting etc we have been somewhat remiss in getting Jack's 12th birthday portrait up for Granny's Gallery.  Although taken a few weeks ago we finally have the computers going so we are now playing 'Photo Catchup'.  This is the one chosen for Jack.

Sale of the House

It has been coming for a long time but Efron St is going on the market.  The publicity shots arrived today and the place looks a bit different in them.  Almost looks worth buying. High Dynamic Range photography and wide lenses are wonderful things.

Adam and Kate's New Kitchen

A lot of thought and planning has gone into the new Donvale kitchen but all the work is starting to show as the new kitchen approaches completion.  The new picture window is spectacular opening the whole back of the house and giving wide views across the pool and the valley beyond.  There is a little more work to go (painting etc) but the first meal in the new facility is approaching.

The Floor is Down

The final upgrade for Unit 2 has been completed today so we can finally move in. The floor covering had to wait until the painting and lighting had been completed but we are happy with the result.
Having had the old carpet removed and the floor fixed, the new long board coverings are a great improvement.

Sophie Takes On the District.

After a great performance in the school cross country, Sophie entered the district event. She had a great time and was happy with her performance.  Dad was even happier!

The Move is Underway

We have finally taken the step to move out of Efron St and build a new home at Luckie Street.  To facilitate the transition we have been undertaking major works at Unit 2 so that we can live there comfortably while the build is occurring.  New LED lighting has been installed throughout and the whole house painted.
The old (and very tired) garage door has been replaced and the new flooring is about to be installed.
