Family Celebrations

With Cooper and Lachlan's birthdays being so close and occurring in the middle of the school holidays, we managed to gather on Saturday to celebrate,
It was a relaxed evening after the frantic activity of the Super Hero party.

Lachlan's Birthday Party

To celebrate Lachlan's birthday, all the Super Heros gathered at his place for a party.  Iron Man and his Mum had made all the arrangements.
The Heros battled to save cities but there was always time for a publicity shot.
It is always good to have older brothers if you are a Super Hero.  They can be used to help out in all the games.
Even Super Heros like birthday cakes (with a selfie on it!).
Of course all the presents are an added bonus. Lachlan had a great party.

The Final Birthday Purchase

It turns out that you can never have too many light sabres.  After all you would not want to be caught off guard.  Cooper finalised his collection today with this modern technological marvel.

School Holidays

Max and Rosie have been left in charge while the rest of the family headed for Queensland.  While we have cold and wet we can hope the weather is better up north.
Cooler weather has meant an increased interest in food!

Cooper's Birthday

Cooper enjoyed his Birthday.  Being school holidays, he had time to have presents at home, then spend time with his friends in the Darkzone.  He spent some of the afternoon checking out and testing his new toys from the day.
Then his favourite Fish and Chips with a birthday cake to follow.
The following day, he took us shopping to top up his inventory thus completing a number of days of celebration.

Cooper in the Darkzone

For his birthday this year, Cooper invited his friends to enter the Darkzone.
The boys spent time on the computer games and consoles.
but they had really come to do battle in the Darkzone.
While the boys fought desperate battles to save the Universe, the ladies lunched
No party is complete without the cake and candles
Then Cooper sent his guests off with their party bags.  He had a good day.

Annual Portrait

As James turns fourteen it's time to turn over the portrait in Granny's Gallery.  This looks like being the selection.

James is Fourteen

The family gathered to celebrate another milestone as James turns fourteen.
It presented another chance to catch up and grab a few photos.
There was plenty to eat and the cake Kate produced was a culinary masterpiece - tasting as good as it looked.
I believe his celebration with friends may be a more exuberant affair!

Football Season Begins

Jack had a practice match against Vermont today.  The boys had a slow first half but came home winners in the final quarter.
Jack played in the centre and in the second half played forward getting a well deserved goal when he pulled the ball out of the pack and ran into the goal
He was a happy camper!
He had quite a workout as the ball was in his half most of the latter part of the game.
The team is looking forward to the season ahead.

School Holidays

It's school holidays so a day at the movies was in order.  The seats in the new complex at Eastland met with the approval of the clients.
As Cooper loses more teeth, the Tooth Fairy will enable the purchase of more movie tickets.
