The Joy of the Jab

Claire's Clinic received some Covid vaccine and we responded quickly to make appointments.  It turns out she became the first person to receive the vaccine in the area as we had the first appointments.

Lachlan's Eleventh

The day was miserable, cold and wet so it was good to have a highlight - the gathering to celebrate Lachlan's eleventh birthday.  Lisa had prepared a meal totally appropriate for the day, her signature lamb shanks dish.

There was no shortage of food and Lisa had produced her first (and fantastic) pavlova for the occasion.
Lachy is not keen on making speeches, however he got through it all with minimum fuss.
Lachlan had a good day.  His goal of purchasing a computer for gaming was also pushed along by the contributions made on the day.

Ebony Enters the Gallery

With school holidays and no Covid lockdowns it has been an easier task to get the portraits for Granny's Gallery this year.  The most recent addition was for Ebony's 17th.

James' Gallery Pic

James called by on the way home from work so we could add his 19th birthday photo to the gallery.

Gallery Photos

We decided that as the birthdays were close, we could get Cooper, Lachlan and Jack's photos ready for Granny's Gallery at the same time.

Birthday Lunch

Jack came along to help us celebrate Cooper and Lachlan's birthdays.  The chosen restaurant was Hunky Dory.  There was no chance anyone would go home hungry.

Cooper Enters His Teens

We had a gathering to mark Cooper arriving at his new landmark - thirteen!  He had a big day previously with friends and a sleepover and the family party today.

There was a bit of a theme going on as he spent his birthday money with his room starting to take on the look of the starship" Enterprise".
Torvo was interested to check out the birthday cake.
Cooper had a good day!

Easter Bunny

The grasses in the front garden have put on a real show of late.  They are almost big enough to hide the Easter Bunny.

Let There Be Light

James completed the electrical connections for the barn so the lighting is now operational.  Next the floors and then the walls.

Now for Water

Next step for the Lake House is to set up the water supply and the truck was brought in to fill the tanks.  Now all is in place for the next stage.
