While Jack had his eighteenth birthday a while ago, the family celebration was delayed when he badly sprained his ankle at basketball. This was rectified on Sunday. It was a cold night so Lisa and Mark completely reset the house for the occasion but it worked well with drinks and nibbles in the lounge and a huge table for dinner in the family room.
We were sad to be notified by our tenant that he was going to have to break his lease and move on after some major family drama. So we are now into the business of getting a new tenant for Unit 2. We would like a clone of the one that is leaving.
Mark and Lisa took a night in Melbourne to celebrate their second wedding anniversary
Lisa Mark and Lachlan decided on an overnight camp after a quick visit to the Lakehouse. They nearly had the camp area to themselves.
John Bell came down from Bateman's Bay to visit Jack for his 18th birthday. Jack made the visit memorable by badly twisting his ankle ad Basketball that put him out of action for 6 weeks!
Cooper's team were playing with only 5 this week and then they lost another just before the game so they had to play with only 4 against the other team's 7. It did not seem to daunt them as they came home with a win 31 to 23 with some of the best teamwork we have seen.
The school arranged a concert to show progress of the newest members of the music program. As a member of the more advanced Concert Band, Lachlan went along to show how the juniors may progress in a year or so.
We have been trying a few local eateries mid week. This time it was a Lebanese restaurant at Forest Hill.It was fantastic food served in an appropriately decorated setting. No need for dinner tonight!
Jack and Cooper came over yesterday so we could do their (somewhat delayed) birthday photos for Granny's Gallery. So they are going up today.
This afternoon we watched Holly and her team dominate the opposition Netball team nearly doubling their score. They are currently top of the ladder and it shows.
