Can We Grow Strawberries?

Brett has donated a number of surplus plants to our strawberry experiment.

An old vase has been repurposed and a small plantation has been installed along the drive.  Can we hold out against the possums?

Community Hub Approaching

The old Nunawading Primary School is no longer, however the building is being incorporated into the Community Hub that is now approaching completion.  The finalising touches are now being applied with gardens and surrounds being planted out.

Sorting the Cellar

The wine cellar has been in need of sorting for a while now but it was dependent on adding storage. So now the necessary racks have been constructed - 

and placed in position.

Computer Rebuilt!

Cooper has been working toward a new gaming computer for some time now.  He has collected parts and worked to earn money to buy parts he needed.  It all came together yesterday when he installed the new components and got it all up and running.  Guess who's happy now?

Year Six Jacket

Well into the year we have been able to see Cooper's Grade 6 Jacket.  For some reason he was not wearing it a lot during isolation!

Time Moves On

We have just had an Anniversary!. It has now been two years since we left our home at Efron Street.

 We transitioned to the rear Unit at Luckie Street while waiting for the old original house to be replaced by our new home.

Rapid Progress

Our confinement during the Corona Crisis has enabled the rapid progress of the Family History Project.  Claire is now dealing with the last few Chapters before we start looking at options for publishing.

Variety in the Streets

Wandering the streets in this cooler weather always seems to present something different.

Lachy the Artist

Lachlan has spent a lot of time developing his skills as an artist on the computer.  We have watched as his drawings become more complex and varied.  His latest creation of Commander Cody (using MS Paint and a mouse) is the best yet.

Doing Dinner

The Garnett crew were over for dinner last night.  With school starting again in a couple of days there was a sense of anticipation and relief looking at the coming week.  It will be interesting to see how things change.
