Another perfect day in the land of perpetual complaints about the weather. (Who is kidding who?) So it was into the car and off to Birling Gap to see the Seven Sisters. These appear to be high points on the white cliffs along the coast.
The best thing was too be able to get up close and personal with the chalky white cliffs and see the flint embedded in them. The eroded cliffs leave the flints on the beach and Mitchell spent time cracking them to make cutting edges.
Then it was tea and scones at the cafe before the trip home along the coast.
