It was miserable in Melbourne and Ballarat was not going to be any worse so we hitched up the vans for a weekend escape.
We found the park on the outskirts and set up the vans.
The major attraction was that the park had a heated pool and a HOT tub. After an hour or two a number of very hungry hippos emerged. Luckily we had visited the local supermarket and on the off chance, had purchased a variety of hot cross buns (chocolate, caramel and sticky date, plain) They did not last long after the kids emerged from the pool.
The boys liked watching a huge TV while in the pool.
The Richmond v Collingwood match was not going well for the Tigers supporters so Jack had an early night.
