Claire's birthday celebrations have been going for a while now but the final event was a wonderful lunch at the Oakridge Winery with the usual crew.
A tasting is always good for selecting the wine for lunch and one of their Sav Blancs received the tick of approval. The meals at this place are always spectacular and today was no exception. We had a range from their menu and all were pronounced "spectacular". We started with a trout caviar dish and followed with a kangaroo main and a local cantaloupe and honey desert. The Chef at this place is Brilliant!
After our long lunch we headed back to base for a very light meal and to officially conclude the season of celebration.
