Lisa and Mark's Wedding
The wedding had been planned for quite a while but the intervention of Covid had forced a couple of delays so there was some apprehension that all would go well on the third attempt. It did! Mark and the boys dressed at their house and Lisa dressed with us. (The "real" photos are yet to come so here are some snippets.)
RIP Rosie
Rosie had been a member of the Donvale Reid family for many years. In fact she joined when they were the Mitcham Reids, well before Sophie was born. She had been part of our lives for over 16 years. So it was a sad day for the family and the extended family when she passed away on Wednesday 25th May.

Wedding Excitement Builds
Lisa and Mark held a pre-wedding pizza night to catch up with guests in a more informal setting before the wedding on Saturday. The Garnetts, Bushy and the Inchleys were down from NSW and Allyson and Jason were down from Queensland so the extra catch up time was well used.

Special Anniversary
Today, it is exactly two years since our front garden was completed. Plants were placed but small and it looked a little sparse however times have changed. Cutting back and containment is the task now.

James Football
After an absolute belting last week against third placed Ivanhoe, Whitefriars took to the field against the ladder leaders Old Camberwell. While they didn't win they made Camberwell work hard for the result. James played in the midfield and was a major contributor all day including a running goal and was again given “Best on Ground” for his team.

Photo Door Finished
The door to Jack's room is a little more complicated than most but it is now complete with all the photos in place.
Alfie On The Job
Alfie is proving a prodigious talent. He is responding well to training and if required, gives Sophie a hand with her homework.

Intergalactic Conflict
Mitchell has been on a mission to find a game with no less than 10,000 playing pieces that might replace "Civilization" in future. He came up with Eclipse. The protagonists assembled on Sunday for the pre-battle feast of smoked ribs and salad provided by Brett's smoker before proceeding to the Battle Control Centre (The Barn).
