Two of the icons of the Bendigo region are the Art Gallery and the Grand Stupa. We graced both with our presence. The art gallery did not have a special exhibition at this time but it is always worth a look.
On more than one occasion we were forced to ask "what is that all about?"
We last visited the Grand Stupa about 8 months ago and some progress could be seen in the decorations of some of the Buddha representations. Progress is slow and the development plan currently has a timeline of over a hundred years.
