The Council decided to run an experimental community Outdoor Market over a 3 month period. The first of three was run last night in the Britannia Mall in Mitcham. There were tables and chairs set out across the whole area with shops and food carts providing the sustenance and a number of entertainers to add interest. We arrived early but the place was packed with car parking at a premium in the surrounding streets.
