Checking some of the stuff in storage I came across my first REAL camera. I had had a few old box cameras but when I took over my father's old Exakta, I though I had made it. At the time it was made, (in Germany 1935), it was the coolest thing around. Apart from being an SLR (Single Lens Reflex), it had a lever to wind the film on and a flash trigger synchronised with the shutter.
It produced beautiful Black and White photos on 127 Roll Film. While at school I used it to photograph most of the school productions and I also used it to produce most of the photos in a science text book written by one of my teachers.
