Mount Gambier

We came to Mount Gambier to see the Blue Lake in the extinct volcano crater.  The limestone geology of the area produces many interesting effects including a huge sinkhole in the middle of the town and others around the area.  We spent a little time around the Umpherston Sinkhole.
The area has been developed into a very attractive park.
The horses were a little small for this cart.
The deep sinkhole in the middle of the town is a convenient repository for the town's stormwater.
