Strange Times

Social lockdown produces a number of unintended consequences. For many, culinary experimentation has been an outcome.  We (finally) experienced such an outbreak today when Claire decided to try a long held pavlova recipe. The last attempt (about 40 years ago) produced a rubbery, sticky disk about 1 cm high that had to be cut with scissors as knives would not work.
Today's attempt however, was a triumph. Light and perfectly textured with a marshmellow interior.  We may stay with this recipe.
