We found out we were close to the Ellenborough Falls that are the second highest single drop falls in the Southern Hemisphere. (The tallest are near Ingham in Queensland). So the morning was dedicated to seeing the falls. The road took us up into the surrounding mountains.
The falls have a single drop of over 200 metres. They are spring fed and apparently have never been dry.
There was a great little kiosk at the falls with a resident Brush Turkey (or two).
