The Whitehorse Council has run a Spring Fair for many years (excluding Covid years) with fun for kids, food franchises and stands for community groups. This year it was to be held in Tunstall Park 300m down the road from us. Despite the threatening weather, it went ahead and the rain held off although the ground was somewhat muddy, thousands of people poured into the park all day.
After watching the Highland Dancing, Claire found her favourite community group amongst the stands.
We decided not to try the high wire and trapeze!
