To Broken Hill

There has been unprecedented rainfall in eastern Australia this year so the road to Broken Hill was very different from our previous experience.  There was water laying in puddles, the land was green with grasses and low bushes and the watercourses were lined with well leafed trees.  The Darling was at near flood levels and even the anabranch of the Darling was over its banks.

We set up in Broken Hill and headed over the road to the local Pub for dinner.  Like many of the buildings in the area it looked like it was built in the very early 20th century.
