Morgan

Morgan is a sleepy little town on the river that was once the centre of much trade in South Australia.  Produce from the north was brought to Morgan by riverboat then offloaded to the trains for shipment to Adelaide.  This made the Morgan railway station one of the busiest in Australia at the time.  The trains are now a distant memory and the station is now a Visitor Centre.

Around the town there are a number of well preserved old buildings.
The central focus seems to now be tourism with one of the original huge grain stores now converted to an excellent museum.
