Around the Gulf

We spent a night at the Mt Remarkable National Park. The mountain, (hill) was far less remarkable than the massive Reg Gums in the floor of the river valley.

It was a bit remote as there was no power or phone but it was a beautiful setting with plenty of wild life to add interest. In the morning it was Cooper's fourth birthday so, being the Birthday Boy it was his special day.

We packed up and had a long day's travel round the top of Spencer Gulf right down to Port Lincoln where we set up camp in a farmer's paddock. It is not as bad as it sounds as there are good amenities and good water available.

Cooper had his cake and "candles" in the kitchen. He enjoyed his day as the "Man of the Moment"
