We left Port Lincoln and headed up the Eyre Peninsula toward Ceduna. We passed what appeared to be large stretches of poor farming country with gnarled trees and rocky soil. Farming here would be tough. However there were interesting places and sights on the way. We had been warned that, being Easter, all the campsites would be fully booked and this was the case. We pulled in at Laura Bay for the night to camp in a bush setting with no power or water. The kids had a great time playing in the sandy soil. By the time they went to bed they had quite dark complexions. Hope Lisa can scrub it all off!
