Wave Rock

It was always going to be a long drive but if you are in the area it is almost mandated that you see Wave Rock. So we set off from Esperance and arrived about 2.30. What a surprise, it was just like all the photos I have seen of the rock. So here are another couple.

However we did walk over the top of the rock that gives a view of the (very arid) surroundings and the eroded remnants of rocks left on top of Wave Rock. It was only about 25 degrees today but it was hot on the rock. A word from the wise, don't plan a trip here in the middle of summer
