Jack's Birthday

It was Jack's birthday today so we had a change of pace. It started early with the family gathering round for presents.

After breakfast we headed for a local attraction that was essentially a parrot zoo. This is a private operation housing a huge collection of all sorts of parrots in big cages in a very attractive setting.

Lunch included the birthday cake which was soon demolished.

Even though it was a cooler day today the boys decided that the pool was the place to be in the afternoon. They came out freezing but very ready for their dinner that Jack had decreed should be nuggets and chips. There was general agreement that the fish and chips was excellent but then fishing is big around these parts so I suppose we should have expected it.

Jack seems to have had a good day.
