It has been in the planning stages for a long time but it was finally time to head off for Cape York and “sunny” Queensland. The day started brilliantly with me cutting myself shaving then walking into a door so I looked like I had just survived a knife attack.
Unfortunately Cairns decided to present us with Melbourne weather although warmer.

So far, we have found a number of great locations for breakfast and dinner
